Canva is a general design tool that happens to include App Store screenshot templates. Nuvex does one thing. If you already use Canva daily and have brand kits set up there, staying put is reasonable. What Canva actually is
Canva is a browser-based design tool covering social posts, presentations, print and much else, with a large template library that includes App Store screenshot layouts. It is enormously capable and general — screenshots are one use among hundreds.
Nuvex, by contrast, is built for one output: you upload your raw app screens and a sentence describing your app, and it returns a finished five-frame store campaign in about thirty seconds. Your uploaded screen is masked before generation, so your real interface passes into the output pixel-for-pixel while the AI designs everything around it.

Honest caveats about Nuvex
If you are comfortable in a design tool and enjoy the control, Canva will get you there — and its free tier is more generous than ours. Nuvex is for people who do not want to open a design tool at all.
Nuvex also makes still frames only — App Preview video needs a different tool, and we would rather say that than sell you a workaround. And it never puts invented star ratings, unearned award badges or fake press logos on a frame.
